Square Announces FFCC: Echoes of Time for Wii & DS - WTF?
A couple days ago Famitsu revealed a new Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles game from Square. The problem was that it was announced for both the Wii and DS. Naturally everyone was confused, and now that the game has been explained in further detail people are still confused.
If you haven't already noticed from the pic above the game is identical on both platforms. I guess this is so you can play online with DS owners. Now that's a cool idea and all, but does Square really expect us to pay $50 to play a DS port on our Wii?
Needless to say this is a completely stupid idea and totally nullifies the concept of playing with people who own the DS version. If you want to play with DS owners that badly then just buy the damn DS version. There is no point in buying the Wii version of the game since it's just the DS version on a bigger screen.
WTF was Square thinking, and WTF is Crystal Bearers??
