Rumor: Nintendo Doesn't Want Bionic Commando on VC
According to Capcom's own Christian Svensson, Capcom has tried very hard to get Bionic Commando onto the Wii's Virtual Console service, but Nintendo is not having it. He didn't explain why Nintendo was reluctant, but he couldn't stress enough how it wasn't Capcom's fault for it not coming to the VC. Is there bad blood brewing or is this another example of Nintendo of America's poor management of the VC service?
Guys, you have to take this up with Nintendo. This is NOT, repeat NOT, a Capcom issue.

Considering that next week the US VC will again be receiving one measly game while the rest of the world gets a minimum of three I have no problem believing that this is just more of NOA's bullshit mismanagement of the Virtual Console service. Nintendo of Japan could be screwing Americans over, but it's more likely that Reggie just isn't doing his job well. We'll have to see.
More interesting is the idea that Nintendo refused Bionic Commando because they are not happy with Capcom. After all Capcom screwed Nintendo when they remade the game for the 360 and PS3 leaving the Wii and it's Wiiware service high and dry. They even offered the other guys a full 3D BC, again leaving the Wii out in the cold. Is this why Nintendo said no to Capcom cashing in on a VC version of the game?
The last Capcom game to hit the VC was in January. Coincidence?
If that's the reason I can totally understand since this wouldn't be the first time that Capcom screws Nintendo. Why let Capcom earn what amounts to free money from their VC service after shafting them with the Bionic Commando remakes? Of course no one knows the real reasons, and we're likely to never learn them, but I'm thinking that Nintendo isn't too happy with Capcom right now.
Remember the Capcom 5? 5 great games exclusivly for the gamecube, 1 was
shit, 2 wernt made, and the 2 good titles were ported to ps2. I take it
nintendo isnt happy with capcom.
