Nintendo just released two imported games to US shores today and sadly they prove how Nintendo's Virtual Console service is a joke. First of all imported games cost more than regular VC games. Why? No one knows, but it sucks all the same. Secondly, the two games released today DoReMi Fantasy and Puyo Puyo 2 are not in english. NO THEY ARE NOT TRANSLATED. The manual is in english, but that's about it.
Granted these games are not Nintendo's but the lack of quality control on the VC by Nintendo is atrocious and unacceptable. How the F*CK can you release a game in another country without the proper localization? So not only are they going to charge us more than the normally ridiculous high prices but now they're not even going to translate the damn games? How is this acceptable by any stretch of the imagination?
Nintendo needs to get their shit together because this lazy, half-assed approach to quality control on the Wii has proven to be a disaster on the VC so far with horrible emulation and now no localization. Gamers really need to get on their ass about this or else it will only get worse!
I know this has nothing to do with the topic, but how many copies has brawl
sold in north america?
You'll have to wait until next month's NPD numbers to find out.
