Capcom is happy to announce that their low budget, mostly rehashed on-rails shooter because "Wii users like easiness" game, Umbrella Chronicles, has shipped over 1 million units worldwide. This is great news for Capcom who spent next to nothing making this game and even less advertising it. It's Wii gamers who should take this news with a grain of salt since Capcom has yet to prove that they are committed to the Wii beyond ports and half-assed spinoffs. Yeah, there's that one game, Monster Hunter 3, but Nintendo probably paid out the ass to secure that exclusive.
Now don't get me wrong, Umbrella Chronicles is a great game, but now that Capcom has not one, but two Wii games that have sold over a million it's time to move past the appetizers and get some real meat. It's time the Wii gets some games that costs more than a million dollars to make, is made by Capcom's best talent and has an annoying TV commercial that plays every 5 minutes. Anything less than that is bullshit and will not be acceptable.
