Rumor: $500 PS3 to only use wired controllers?
The fanboyism stirred up by the announcements at E3 is at an all time high. This means that lies and rumors about the "other guys" system are bound to surface in the many heated discussions and rants all over the web. The latest rumor says that the cheap (cheap, haha), version of the PS3 won't support wireless controllers, and it was apparently started by gamesradar.com
The main problem with their story is that they provide absolutely no proof to back up their claim. In fact all of the evidence, and reports, point to both versions of the PS3 having wireless bluetooth capability. In fact Sony released a PDF which detail the specs of both versions which confirm wireless capabilities for the two.
Until they provide evidence to back up their claim their story is total BS, but the fact remains that the PS3 is not on store shelves so it's specs are still subject to change. Either way this "story" stinks of anti-Sony fanboyism.
