Madworld Wii Officially Announced
A few days ago the internet was going crazy over leaked shots of a new ultra bloody Wii game called Madworld. Today the embargo (Man I hat those stupid things), lifted and Platinum Games officially announced their Wii exclusive called Madworld. The details of the game are still secret but it's supposed to be a comical bloodfest that "anyone can enjoy". According to those who saw it in action you run around cutting people's heads of with a chainsaw attached to your arm, ramming sign posts through people's heads, impaling enemies on walls of spikes multiple times and ripping people's hearts out then squishing them in your hand.
There is also supposed to be this sports-like theme or story or gameplay element (think Running Man), and I'm not digging that too much. I'm also not a fan of the black and white scheme since it's hard to tell what the hell is going on a lot of the times. This game is being made by what many consider a very good developer, but I need to see more before I'm convinced. I'm all for mature games to finally, finally, start making their way to the Wii, but blood and violence alone do not a good game make.
Seems interesting, and im glad its a new original mature title, but i need
more info before im convinced.
