IGN has an excellent feature on a hardcore Wii game that is being developed by High Voltage Software. The problem is that Wii owners may never get to play this game, and the reason why is insane. According to IGN several development companies have revealed that many big name publishers absolutely refuse to make a mature, hardcore game for the Nintendo Wii. It doesn't matter that RE4 sold over a million. It doesn't matter that Umbrella Chronicles sold over a million. A lot of game companies refuse to make a mature, hardcore game for the Wii because they think it won't sell.
It's insanity folks. Pure insanity. I suggest you head over to IGN and check out their article on the game and read the choice quotes from the High Voltage developers.
Im sure No More Heroes has sold half a million worldwide, and thats a lot
for an original game. But with igns article, hopfully this game will find a
publisher.
