Mii Specific Friend Code Rumor Proves False

When something seems to good to be true it usually is, and that was the case with the rumored possibility that game specific friend codes would be replaced by Mii specific codes that you could use for multiple games. According to Joystiq, the Mario Strikers producer has cleared up his comments and said that Mii specific codes were only for Mario Strikers - a possibility that I mentioned.
Oh well. This is one of those cases where is sucks to be right.
