Dead Rising Wii is Crap, Monster Hunter 3 Control Issues

Sorry, but there's no other way to say it. After a few decent titles Capcom's Wii offerings have quickly devolved into a steaming pile of shit. Even Capcom's largest Wii effort, Monster Hunter 3, has now been revealed to not use the biggest, most basic feature of the Wiimote - IR aiming. No. Instead you have to aim your ranged weapons with the analog stick. It didn't take long for Wii gamers to get angry and for speculation to begin that this was done in order to facilitate a port, and since it's Capcom we're talking about here that theory sounds very plausible.

Now while MH3 may be great for the most part (thanks to Nintendo buying exclusivity), there is no question that Dead Rising Wii is a total piece of shovelware. The majority of the press who have seen and played the game say it is a joke. First and foremost, in spite of the fact that Capcom promised around 100 zombies on screen the most anyone has seen has been around ten. Visually the game still looks like a poorly made PS2 game even though it is supposedly using the Resident Evil 4 engine. Other things like bad controls and mini-games totally finish off this disaster of a port. Who did Capcom hire to make this game? Monkeys?

I really don't know what to say about Capcom anymore. After releasing Zack & Wiki and RE4 I thought they had big plans for the Wii. Apparently they only see the Wii as a cash-in machine where they can dump half-assed, mediocre games and try to fool people into buying them.
